Algarve in particular offers a rather high standard of education to both foreign and Portuguese children and young people.
The international education programs in Portugal vary, ranging from the British GCSE and GCE education systems to the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) program.
– Redbridge school was founded in September 2017 in the downtown of Lisbon, in the neighborhood of Campo de Ourique. It is a modern and innovative, privately-owned, primary education institution. The school program follows both the National Curriculum of Portugal and the French National Curriculum. It also teaches Portuguese, French, and English to its students.
The students aged between six and twelve are taught English for trans-disciplinary, inquiry-based learning, while math and the other subjects are taught in either English or Portuguese, depending on the student’s parents’ choice.
