At Property Lisbon we understand there is a lot you may wish to see while in Lisbon, but that your time in the city may be limited. That is why we have compiled the following guide of some of the things you can do while in Lisbon, to help you better plan and organize your stay.
There are, of course, many different interesting things to see when you are touring the great city of Lisbon. But, as we have already established, with limited time there is little to no chance that you will get to see everything there is to see and everything that may interest you. It is impossible to even describe every single activity, place, and event that are available in the city, let alone get to visit, see, and do them all during a single stay.
You should not be surprised if, when touring the city on your own, you discover interesting things to do that are not even mentioned in any of the tourist guides available.
In our previous article “Suggested Lisbon Itineraries – Introduction” we have mentioned how, in order to see and do everything that Lisbon has to offer, you would ideally need to spend at least a month in the city.
It is very important to note, that we are not telling you these things in order to discourage you from visiting. Quite to contrary, our intention is to make your expectations about visiting and touring Lisbon as realistic as possible, in order to avoid any potential disappointment. So, instead of feeling pressured to visit, see, and do everything that there is in Lisbon, we simply want to advise you to instead just focus on having as much fun as you can while visiting as many places as you can afford to in the given time that you have. And if anything that happens to be on your “to do” list does not get to be checked out for whatever reason, do not let that dishearten you. You can always come back again and visit, see, and do those other things you did not get to on your first visit, and even re-visit the places that you did go to the last time you were in the city and you happened to particularly like.
So just take it easy, take it slow, do not fall under pressure, make a list of things that will be the priority during your visit, and you are guaranteed to have an adventure of a lifetime.
