The main subject of this study have in fact been the local accommodation apartments with one and two bedrooms and, according to the data which has been collected in the study, the analysis seems to suggest that the most expensive area in the country of Portugal is the Aliados Avenue area, located in the city of Porto, where one bedroom flats can go up to one hundred and twenty Euros per day on average, while the two bedroom flats in the same area can reach up to one hundred and fifty Euros a day. Still in the city of Porto, the Aliados area is closely followed by the area of São Bento Station which can reach one hundred and thirty five Euros per day, while the Santa Catarina Street in the city of Porto as well can reach the value of up to one hundred and twenty Euros per day.
In the city of Lisbon, the owners of the local accommodation property units can gain a rather high revenue if they are located on the Alecrim Street or the Garrett Street, both of which are in the Chiado district of the city of Lisbon. In both of these streets, a two bedroom apartment can reach
a daily price of one hundred and thirty Euros, followed by the Avenida da Liberdade at one hundred and twenty five Euros a day, then the Carmo Street which is also at one hundred and twenty five Euros a day, and finally the areas in close proximity to the Augusta Street and the Ouro Street – both of which are located in the Baixa district – or in the Republica Avenue, can reach up to one hundred and twenty Euros per day.
